I guess Bahrain just does not want to sacrifice someone. Bilbao will try to secure his 5th place in GC, Buitrago will probably still hope that he can take the White Jersey from López if the latter has a very bad day. And they also want to keep their lead in the Teams Classification. Which means that with Novak in front, there probably is no-one but Poels to set the pace on Pordoi and the descent.
