They finally realised it's better just not to show them when they're often so wrong
Or any graphics for that matter (except lame HR data) . . . Km to go, composition of groups, names of chateaus and churches . . .

I think it's warranted. After all, it's a podium candidate losing time early on the climb. It's Mayo TDF 2004, 2005 and 2006 level, without the arguing with the camera to stop filming part.
Podium candidate for what? You're not talking about GC are you?

Oldani is not a heavy guy, his weight is in the low 60ies, if his engine holds up he shouldn't loose that much time.

Martin going to Etna to prep, climbing it 20 times, and never once climbing the side you're going to race really puts into perspective French team culture and race prep lol
Indeed! If he was being honest, that just really does not seem to make a lot of tactical or strategic sense.

Still early, but Oldani winning a big MTF from this group would be the most random thing since Foliforov. Let alone by soloing the whole climb.

I guess you are not familiar with the words from our Lord and Savior Alberto.

Didn't expect Oldani to be able to do so well on a MTF. If he keeps up this rhythm the jersey might stay with Alpecin until Blockhaus.
That’s one way to get rid of that ugly Alpecin jersey!

How is Oldani still extending his lead. I know he's not a bad climber, but still he's not good either.
