The stage is scheduled to end one hour earlier than usual btw
they must arrive 1 hour earlier
I think because then they have to take the ferry to Calabria.

Petrol bomb the stage 4 thread, sticky the stage 5 thread, hit the red bull and get stoked about a few sprinters getting dropped on the Portella.

Well, even talking thru his cellphone Karsten Migels would be a better commentator than what the English speaking audience tends to get!The German ES commentary sounds radio-like.
What would be cool is if on the climb a stronger breakaway formed. I know it wont happen, but I can dream.
Competitors born within 100km of today's route.

I don't understand everything, but for a cycling commentary radio standards are quite O.K.. Descriptive narration and vocal sound (if that's not a pleonasm).Well, even talking thru his cellphone Karsten Migels would be a better commentator than what the English speaking audience tends to get!
Well, when everyone was born it was within 0 kms of some root.
With Dumoulin and Nibali.
Lotto Soudal needs to drop other sprinters and they have a chance. But will they? Milano Sanremo showed you can drop sprinters even on shallow climbs.
I mean, getting rid of Cavendish would be tactically desirable, but I don’t think the team with Ewan really has to get rid of other sprinters. He should be the fastest guy in a straight line in the field
