Australian television to miss almost the first four hours of tonight's stage in preference for Eurovision.

Vision.....it's music. Could they show the Giro and have the songs played as the audio?

Next big television event: Modelsound.
You can still watch the livestream on SBS On Demand before that.............

Quite a few teams missing out that should be in the breakaway. Wanty, Movistar, Jumbo... someone like formolo or oliveira from UAE. But I think a lot of riders tried and the big teams neutralized each other. So th next part of the race will be pretty dull. I would guess a rider from the gc group wins.

Big peloton with Ewan in it, so only small groups behind. If Cav is far behind, it's going to be a very long day.

Demare and his mob also. Seemed to be quite a few QS jerseys there, so either Cav is back in there, or he's got very little support with him.

If PCS is correct the average speed is only like 30km/h so far, which even given the climbing start, is really slow.

It's a long day because everyone is gonna go slow for the next 100km, not because Cav needs to go balls to the wall to finish inside the time limit.

Now I hope for some action soon. Bora could go into TTT mode and attack on the first meters of Lanciano, with Kämna-Buchmann-Kelderman-Hindley. That would be some spectacular racing. ;)
