"Bob Jungels has a (first) positive covid test. If the second one is too, GVA moves up. At 12:00 we will know more. "

Seems like the next test was negative

Edit: ok, not contagious was the term used

What about other sports? I don't see anyone was excluding NBA players from the playoffs because of covid positives, and those stadiums were packed full. Same with tennis and other sports. Seems cycling is somehow still clinging to the most strict rules possible, even now after 2 years, and with road cycling being an outdoor activity.

The thing is, in the NBA, you can miss a few games and still return, because they are drawn out. The isolation rules are still prevalent in the US, you have to isolate your self for five days. It happened to a player on the runner-ups. Cycling is almost every day for 3 and 1/2 weeks in a Grand Tour, and a Covid positive at the beginning means you can’t race until we get to France, which is utterly pointless.

Plus in the NBA nowadays none of the players are within 2 meters of each other.....the league swore off defense when Larry and Magic retired

Not sure what you mean regarding tennis as 3 seeded players on the men side withdrew from Wimbledon due to covid positives this week.
