Stages
Stage 1: Bergen - Voss
Quite easy stage with a punchy climb to finish it off.
Stage 2: Ulvik-Geilo
This stage can possibly be very interesting or very dull. The terrain after Dyranut is harder than it looks and it's very exposed for wind. The weather forecast says we shall expect about 3-4 degrees over Dyranut and quite a lot of wind in direction from south/southwest, which means cross and cross/tail wind. Possibilities for echelons in the last 55 kilometers!
Stage 3: Gol - Stavsro
The queen stage! The final climb is 12 kilometers with more than 8% so here it is possible to see big GC gaps.
After the intermediate sprint at Geilo it seems to be crosswind the whole way in, meaning there might be a bit of headwind in some parts of the final climb.
Stage 4: Hovden - Kristiansand
Really long stage where there are possibilities for some crosswind, but route is likely not exposed enough for the forecasted wind strenght. Finishing with 2 laps in Kristiansand with a small hill. Should be a bunch sprint, maybe the hills can reduce the peloton a bit, but not that much.
Stage 5: Flekkefjord - Sandnes
Hard to say what to expect, but I dont think the finishing circuit is hard enough to make the peloton break. This could be one for a break. Or for Remco to attack at the climb to Oltedal and TT the last 40 kilometers to victory.
Stage 6: Stavanger - Stavanger
This one should be for the strong sprinters. Grisabakken is steep, but quite short and 7 km from the finish line so it should be possible to organize a strong chase to catch attackers.
