Well there was half a massive breakdown of just Landa.I can't believe commentators are still speculating about someone from the peloton winning the stage. If that has to happen, Jay Vine and Landa both have to have a massive breakdown on the climb.
Vine is a phenom, how did he lose so much time early? He would be fighting for the podium. Remco still very strong and now there are three guys clearly in front, with Mas and Roglic. Primoz more promising today, he's still in the game.
But it's not credible.Another insane performance from Vine, he will be wondering now whether to stick or twist in terms of riding for a GC placing. A lot of riders will be glad that he opted to lose almost 10 minutes on Wednesday.
QS doms rode and controlled very well today but Roglic looked better and will be happy with that result.
Podium set
Yes, apart from lots of the top-10 riders once again losing a truckload of times, and the two spanish climbers emerging as the top-5 favorites behind Roglic, Mas and Remco. Also, Roglic showed he's still in it, so all in all, a pretty good MTF all things considered. Wasn't fireworks, but last climb was ridden super fast.Less dramatic than two days ago behind Vine.
Status quo sort of.
Tao came in behind Reichenbach. And he is missing in the result, so must be him.Apparently that was Gesink with Roglic not Kuss?
Rolled in in 11th
Let's hope it's not too late for a nice heatwave. Sierra Nevada is make or break for him.Evenepoel still the clear favourite but Roglic getting stronger can only make this race better.
If Remco wants to, he can win this by 10 minutes. Looked like a low effort climb from him. Just went to the front and ground down the others again
He was very good in Burgos, expected this from himMaybe QS is better than People expect, impressed by Van Wilder today.
I think that is a bit to optimistic, he had a little left, but if he could have dropped them i think he would have
