If by crush, you mean 15s, because that was my prediction... but then De Plus got injured and they replaced him with the Australian TT champion.

But I think QuickStep would have benefited burning the likes of Vervaeke, Devenyns and Serry earlier. It would also have made the final less chaotic, they easily lost some seconds there.
