When you have a group of seven with both Vollering and Reusser in it, hard to imagine anyone else having a chance.

If Vollering and Reusser keeps deploying the standard SD Worx tactics of attacking rather than cooperating, the group behind might still come back.

Imagine if Lippert had won (was close), being pulled back to the front by Vollering. But in the end, Silvia was the best.

Still strange from SD worx, Reusser looked the strongest today.
Reusser is pretty savvy with respect to getting away solo when she's feeling good; she and team must have felt she didn't have a chance against Persico and getting Vollering back into the mix was their best shot. As it was Demi had to spend a lot of energy coming back and Persico was immediately in her wheel when she jumped. Well played by her.

SD Worx are the women's equivalent of UAE when Pogacar is not riding - Simply, they dont ride as a team.

Jayco is not riding - It's stranger that matthews has never ridden PR.

Well, I know that, but that means it wasn't the plan from the start to have him ride this. I think they rode if they wanted to.

They do though, what are you talking about? Winning nearly every race isn't enough?

You can win races without teamwork if you have the strongest riders - I've been posting for months about SD Worx's lack of teamwork.

I understand that Bling is a bit underdone after suffering from COVID, however it's a race that suits him and Jayco do need UCI points.

Of course it helps if you have the strongest riders, but I haven't seen a lot of ridiculous tactics. Maybe more from the other teams in trying to beat them.

Really don't understand why Lotto wasn't telling someone to wait on De Lie. Literally had to close a 40 seconds gap on his own after the Herstraat.

Oil on the road, luckily just behind the finish after an uphill section. Usually no attacks there.

I guess most of them are free to go for a result themselves today? Apart from Drizners (who was dropped) any maybe Paaschens I see no real domestiques on the team, at least. Kron and Eenkhoorn were named as captains for today, at least, and Livyns and Vermeersch could also have a shot at a good result from an early attack.

Paesschens and Livyns should always work ofcourse.
