So... it was you?! :p

(Kidding!
Maybe...)
Well, 30 min and sunshine and 25 degrees again almost. Can't complain, good day out, but a bit disappointed by the winner. One of the only times I would have actually preferred a small sprint for the win instead as I was actually standing on the finishline!

but I don't know why you have to be on such a rampage against everything Danish these days.
What are you on about? As recently as in the Worlds thread I applauded the racing of the Danish team, opposite @Danskebjerge.

I hate low standards and having to celebrate anything mediocre just because it's Danish. We're objectively one of the best countries in world, it's only fair to expect more.

Doesn’t the classification also have to do with internationalisation of the sport?

The climbers are only avoiding this race because "Himmelbjerget" is never featured.

It's like Angliru but with a tower as the cherry on top.

They will come in handy, cause the riders will be exhausted after the brutal climb.

It is, to be fair, one of the hardest climbs we have but unfortunately you cannot go to the foot of it without either having to descend it and turn around or approach it from graveled forest roads.

I really can't see Fabio Jakobsen losing here.

Today's circuit climb is like a combination of Geulhemmerweg and Bemelerberg. 1000 km of 5-6% without any steep parts.

Furthermore, the loop is less technical and less punchy than yesterday. You have to be a really heavy sprinter to get dropped.

well, last time they did this circuit Tiesj Benoot won, so it's certainly possible to go clear.

But you may still be right, the stage itself is easier today, and seems like there's also going to be a headwind on the climb.

The moving around on the calendar at various important and less important races haven't done any good for this race.
The rain and motocules neither.
Let's hope for a better day.
