Don't agree, a final stage mountain time trial will always do this. The issue is that it also caused the previous week of no racing

Damn, Roglic very strong climb, almost lost it because of material choice in combination with a dip.
Thomas blew. His first 'bad' day and he lost the Giro on it. Pity he is second again for G. (maybe his last shot at a GT)

Roglic wins a complete lackbuster and deprived Giro in the last TT. The ITT delivered in the end. (the other stages were symbolic)

There was a time when Roglic was not looking good in first weeks and INEOS and UAE did not take advantage of it

Not attacking was their failure when they could ..both INEOS and UAE
