Well, the 2007 stage was raced a bit differently.
Sure was, Ricco wins the stage, DeLuca in Pink. Weren't they both permanently banned? Those were the days!

A relatively conservative rider, but he was never talked up the way Roglic was.
In the end, the organization got what they wanted: a close Giro. We should celebrate it too.I feel the organisation should declare all stages after stage 9 void.
Thomas is over the hill for a potential GT winner so for his age he's done well. Still would have liked to see the race with TGH and Remco in it but that's racing.Roglic sucked but can’t believe anyone is praising Thomas lmao. Bloke did absolutely nothing all race either
But Horner was not there, might be amusing if he did poke his nose in and got it bonked.THey are all bros. Next year Cav will be on too, just wait.
Hilarious a couple days ago i was watching Horner's video and he made fun of Adam Blythe talking into the camera about nothing after the stage when in the background Cav is almost fighting a guy from project Green. Blythe even looks in their direction, then goes back to 'blah blah blah'
Horner does a whole segment on this lol. Its the sprint stage from a couple days ago
It's worth noting that in 2007 the race blew to pieces on the Passo Giau.Despite all the hate, the terrible riders still beat the previous record up Tre Cime by 41 seconds. After riding through a hail storm.

Normally I love the Giro and follow it minutely but this year it’s even less interesting than a movie trailer for the real thing to come… makes me wonder if that “real thing to come” is the Tour or the WC or if we shall have to wait a year?
Today will be fun but we had to sit through three weeks of cattanaceo for one hour’s entertainmentIn the end, the organization got what they wanted: a close Giro. We should celebrate it too.
It comes down to this. A MTT with a Beillurti for a finish. That's completely insane.
The GC tomorrow could look so different.
Why on earth should weIn the end, the organization got what they wanted: a close Giro. We should celebrate it too.
YepI'm quite sure @Tonton was slightly cynical if not sardonic there.
GCN said timecut is 50%Are PCS stats right that the 20th time is 54 minutes right now? Cause then I can imagine a lot of dudes missing the time cut, unless my guestimates for the fastest times are insane.
How do you feel today?I feel the organisation should declare all stages after stage 9 void.
Sorry no time to talk, busy drafting a letter to UCI to relegate Roglic for puppy paws. How do you feel today?
It’s allowed in ITTs.Sorry no time to talk, drafting a letter to UCI to relegate Roglic for puppy paws.
Why is that, by the way? Wasn‘t the reasoning for the rule being role models for children? Do aspiring cyclists not watch ITTs? Or am I misremembering? It’s allowed in ITTs.
I can't believe someone thought it necessary to correct you....on this of all things.Ah. Too late.
And last time it was snowing. So the weather was probably better this year not to mention the easiness of the stage. It's worth noting that in 2007 the race blew to pieces on the Passo Giau.
It also snew at the 3 Merlons in 1988 when Lucho Herrera won!And last time it was snowing. So the weather was probably better this year not to mention the easiness of the stage.
