Huh? I would have assumed him and Gaudu were a package-deal. And according to PCS he's contracted for next year.

Some rumors in French press that he wants out (not the best relation with Madiot), but rumors in French press def don't mean that's it's true.

Healy interviewed afterwards, says that going super long was a tactical decision because of the parcours. He didn’t think the climbs were long enough to guarantee that he could ditch the others if he left it to later on, so he went out to make everything as hard as he could from the start. Once he was solo it was just about measuring his effort and not going deeper than the chase.

For the rest of the season, he has a few weeks off and then a program of one day races: San Sebastián, the Canadian races, the Italian classics and the WC.

The France RR was just fascinating. What a great race! Completely crazy efforts far out and comebacks and everything. It's a really cycling nation.

German NC a bit boring because Bora as usual but that was a 150 km Break effort from Buchmann. Xou have to be in decent form to sustain that team mates in the back or not

Gap in Belgium is growing. Lotto is killing the chase. These 9 will likely go for victory.
Who has the best sprint? Stuyven, De Bondt, De Buyst, or Evenepoel?

My personal guess:
De Buyst
De Bondt (because he doesn't have to take a turn)
Stuyven
Evenepoel

Emotions coming to the fore, as you'd expect in a French race, having Carlton commentate on this one was the right editorial decision
