Trek have given in and started to work. The current version of Brand might not even podium from the front group, so they should perhaps have started earlier.

Already a minute down. The route is hard and they’ll gain another 30” on the Redoute. Even if they saves themselves a bit for this hill.

I feel more human again after seeing Van Agt struggling one of the steep parts. So hard.

Kopecky happy they just paced untill the top. Didn’t look her best here, just at the back with the group.

Still 2min. With less riders to chase now.
Bego back in the peloton.

If Chabbey and Brown are in good form this might be the winning move for the front trio. Niwiedoma will just mark everyone attacking from behind and after what happened in Fleche I don't see anyone being comfortable pulling with her just sitting on.

2’30” with 30km to go. Seems like a lot to make up, but don’t know how much the front riders have left in their legs.

Peloton really big again. No team wants to ride. Not even those who had a rider dropped in front.

They better go hard on the Forges. With a strong chasing group of leaders the gap can go down quickly. But these solo attacks are not the way.

Hahaha, Bredewold, Van Agt and Brand arguing which team has been the most useless so far, this situation couldn't have happened to nicer teams.

Peleton spread up all across the rode. What a disasterclass this has been from SDWorx and Lidl-Trek so far.
SD Worx paying the price for not being all that strong here but having been so overpowered for so long. Need to commit to Demi and make NFB work, or force a selection, they can't just keep waiting for the race to develop like this. Canyon have every reason to sit on and crowd the front, and if SD or Trek want to win this they've got to commit to an actual strategy to do so.

SDW are also of paying for never wanting to do their share of the work.

My preview promised at least one Kasia attack, so they have to bring the trio back for that to happen. I also like the trio though, so I don't necessarily want them to get caught.
