Peijo Sanchez and Apritscho at the front in Spain according to the German commentators, looks like the second group could come back, though

but nationals are ridden under UCI rules, this is the quirk most federations commissaires forget, and the UCI bike path rules are somewhat vague, and if as that linked article suggested other riders in the Danish ITT also used bike paths, and were seemingly forced to in some parts, but werent sanctioned for it, then I can understand the angst it has caused.

Im sure it will sort itself once people have calmed down and cooler heads prevail
Yes UCI rules.
However I stand by my words that it is up to the riders to inspect the technical details and if any doubts to ask the race organizers for further clarification pre-race.

If anyone, I would've been exremely delighted if the victory had been given to Price Pejtersen.
To me this is as much about healing open wounds on a personal level...
At the end of the day, If I have to criticize the race management, it is their hesitation and the time frame before the final decision, where everyone initially thought Price Pejtersen had emerged as the final winner.
Now it's hard to change, so I just want the polemic closed in the bag and have it fully laced up.

Seems they did just that. Had a talk, and agreed that the jury did indeed to the right thing.
Skjelmose's Insta-post might mostly have been a way for him to indicate that he wasn't the one to dispute the initial result.

I feel fairly confident saying Koerner is gonna win.
Dideriksen and Norsgaard chasing.

absolutely, its just it always throws quirks into the rules that catch riders and officials out and why they then spend ages trying to clarify the results, and still seemingly miss applying it evenly, but as I said I think calmer heads will prevail ultimately once the heat has gone out of it.

First time I have ever watched Spain's nationals.
From the above comments it sounds like Movistar has the numbers every year.

So...for a neutral fan...which of the following nationals will be most interesting?

Belgium
Britain
Denmark.

Ranked in order, please.

That's true, but it only takes another WT team like Ineos to line up with a few decent riders (Rodriguez, Fraile, Castroviejo) or old Astana (Lulu, Bilbao, Fraile, Aranburu) to challenge their numbers.
Today the strongest non-Movistar riders are Landa and Adrià, who ride on their own.

I would suggest watching Britain.
Mostly because I'm not sure the other two are available internationally. Otherwise, I'd of course suggest all three.
