Everyone said the same *** about Pogacar last year and the year before, forgetting that 20 minute gravel hills and cobbled bergs aren't high mountains.

HIm doing the Giro is an admission of defeat

Nah, the Giro is where he'll test their new helmets with a build-in cooling system.

I'll let you in on a secret, Ayuso, Almeida and Pogacar's coach was Inigo san Millan, who is more of a blood analysis expert than a coach, the only thing he introduced to the team was his zone 2, actually 5-5.5w/kg endurance ride, he doesn't know how to plan training as it should be, and that's why all the extra talents of the UAE are stagnating except for Pogačar, because he is still a dnk phenomenon and he can be at least 20% better, which will be seen this year when he changed his coach, he was taken over by Javier Sola, who until now coached Yates and who is a real expert and the best in the entire UAE team, that's why I told you all that Pogacar will fly in 2024 and showed a part of the training from 24.2.2024. proper intervals and believe me, you will see the best Pogacar ever at the Giro and the Tour, and it will be difficult for Vingegard as well, because Pogacar solved the problem with the heat this year, a real coach will finally work with Pogacar on altitude training, Pogacar from Strade Bianche is at 85%, i.e. .this is his base, remember this post and see you after the Tour,,😉
When a bloodbath happens on cime de la bonette, i will quote again your post. See you in july.

Disappointing to watch Ayuso so far from Vingegaard's level, Hindley seemed to be the second strongest today. Martinez very bad, let's see if this season won't be a repeat of 2023. Pidcock is another one that doesn't seem to be able to improve.

Del Toro with a great performance too, hope to see him in the Vuelta later in the season.
They have to slot del toro in a GT. He looks strong enough to domi for pogi at the tdf

Not indefinitely, just in the past 2 years and a with high probability of it happening again given the season so far.
If what happened in previous season is your only method of determining probability of an outcome in the future, then you are sooner or later going to be wrong.

And even when making the comparisons with previous seasons, we will soon deviate from our established sequence of events: what happens when Pog is done admitting defeat in the Tour by winning the Giro and (hopefully) not crashing Liege? Suddenly, you're finding yourself on uncharted territory...

The doubt today was if Ayuso or Hindley could follow Vingegaard. But once they couldnt the difference is not a big surprise. The danish is the best today for stage races and the best climber. I wouldnt say the best of the world, but always in this generation arguable.

Yeah, the guy is good. Ayuso was disappointing, i thought he would get better this year.
You might want to wait until after tomorrow before writing off Ayuso. He would have been well served to stay with Vingo today in hindsight. But today wasn’t the decisive stage day of the race so I can see benefit to not exposing one’s self on a stage like today.
