Arensman gets 50 for the 2nd place, +35 for his improvement in GC, and he's now 5th in KOM (from nowhere) so he gets +15 for that.

Healy gets 460 + 20 for yellow jersey, +35 for 3rd on the stage, and +15 for going from 3rd to 2nd in KOM.

You are right in how Healy get a 530 boost yesterday.

Green points are stage points only (80-50-35-25-15-10-5-3-2-1): they stay even if a rider doesn't finish the race.

Yellow points are not only based on GC, as you correctly surmise (they are our GC, not the race's). It includes GC placing, stage points, top ten placings in points and KoM competitions (same point distribution as a stage) and 20 bonus for wearing yellow jersey the next day (so no bonus on final stage). Yellow jersey bonuses, like stage points, are not lost with a DNF, so if anyone had picked Philipsen, they would have 100 points from him in their total still.

Arensman yesterday got 50 pts for 2nd place on the stage, moved from 47th (24 pts) to 25th (59 pts) on GC, and entered the KoM top ten in 5th place. so 59 (GC) + 50 (stage) + 15 (KoM) - 24 pts he already had is a 100 point gain on the day.

Depending on my wife's plans for the evening, I might get a bit of a summary of the rider's scores up later on today.

First and foremost, thank you for putting these games on Armchair. Running seven games per year is no easy task. We all appreciate your insightful comment and clever humor.

When I chose Ben Healy, I did it because he is so entertaining to watch which I hoped would counter balance his high price. Regardless of how this game ends up, I’m glad I made that decision.. I have nowhere to go but down, but I’ve had a great time thus far.
