Storer looked strong. Were some good climbers in the chasing groups including Jai Hindley who I hope is riding himself into form.

This race (as Giro del Trentino until 2016) was a favourite for riders wanting to be in good form for the Giro.

Clearly no communication or co-operation between Seixas and Gall. Maybe they do not share a language, or they have no mutual respect. Either way, the team will need to step in and give them a clear plan or they will continue to ride as rivals.

Storer is looking like a real B+ level GC rider this year. Great pickup for Tudor after a few anonymous years at FDJ.

G2 didn't race smart but he attacked at the right time and finished strong.

This is one of my favorite races to watch; seems like there's always good mountain battles among riders who often get dropped in GTs...plus always a few breakouts (Seixas this year). And it's the Dolomites/Alps, what's not to love?

Good to know. It’s probably okay they didn’t bother to take into account the all of 5 or so viewers (judging from this forum) on the US. West coast 🤪

What about those of us who can't watch because we are at work?

(I did get to watch Pinot take his first win since the 2019 TdF back in 2022, but that was because I was sick.)

Frigo has become peak Cancellara it seems planning to hold off 20 guys on a 30km flat-ish road.
He also looks like he's riding a bike that is 2 sizes too small for him.
Anyway, the group (both chasers and main group) will be small after the downhill, so I don't know if it's that bad of a move.

I hate climbing the side of Furcia that they are descending. Really irregular and exposed to the sun, during the Summer the heat becomes a problem.

DSM should start riding negatively against Astana and Cofidis here and in the Ardennes, might just ride it in for 2 guys in the top 5 for Bardet and Poole and take the points. The coming calendar should suit them more, but they can't let Scaroni, Champou, Velasco or whoever has the form start cooking on Sunday or in the Giro either otherwise they're in trouble.
