PCS and the GPS on screen offer quite conflicting reports, but what seems sure is that Van Vleuten is in front.
I would say hopefully theyll make the highlights, but iirc from previous Giro Donne's the highlights consisted only of the bits shown on the feed and usually the full last 20mins of the stage.Even when they put it on for several hours, we still don't get to watch the interesting parts of the race.
Alone. There are (some) live images. Realini and Cavalli are chasing.van Vleuten is alone or in a group now?

Demi is in her campervan somewhere in FranceVan Vleuten needs just one climb on the course and she wins the race(if Vollering isn't there, that is)

Leader in the WWT young rider clasifiaction.whats the story with Shirin van Anrooijs blue jersey?
Well it's all there but I'm just reposting procylingstatsThxs. But, that's what we got so far, but no full result yet. For a WWT level this is embarrassing.
Some strong and poor results today:
Van Empel (12) and Niedermaier (13) finished strong given their young age.
From Fisher-Black (22), last years 5th overall and Van Anrooij (23), 2nd overall in Vuelta a Burgos this year, I would have expexcted a better results. But Fisher-Black seems not to have the form compared to last year and Van Anrooij has Longo Borghini and Realini in her team and probably has to work for them.
Dygert finished 90. Also here I expected a better result from here given her strong performance in Vuelta a Burgos this year.
And what can you say about AvV? Seems like she has the form compared to last year. Will be and interesing duel at the Tour between her and Vollering.
She seems to be quite a reluctant road rider, but I think given her qualities it's probably the discipline that suits her the most. Way more than mountain biking, at least. 12th in her very first mountain stage ever is evidence of this.I am so impressed with Fem van Empel. 12th in time trial (ok, annulled) and now 12th in first stage. She has been the rider I have been most exited about for many years. When she went to Jumbo, it was also rumoured she would ride strade bianche, that did not happen. In fact, up to the Giro Donne she only had 3 race days. 2 top 10's and a 38th with a technical problem which dropped her from the first group. This is her first real outing. I predict a great future for this young lady. Only her interviews need to improve a little bit. The shyness will go I suppose.
