I think it's Alfred Swift, the South African.
Would make more sense. Ben Swift is way too old!

Great attack by Petit-Breton!
Alaphilippe in difficulty. Can barely follow the peloton.
Makes you wonder why Roglič doesn't give this race a go. He used to be a surfer, after all.Interesting to see this pontoon section riding though the Mediterranean. The small waves creating a mini pump track is really adding a different dynamic to usual.

Porte, otoh, would be a distaster here. What with his unfortunate aquaphobia...
I heard rumours about adding a loop up the Col d'Eze next yearThis race needs more KM. Look at the size of the peloton! They should add an extra 150 to 200 km to make things more selective.

Grown over history or grown today? Unknown distance race would be interestingIt's even grown since the beginning of the race!

I can't believe they stopped the whole team to wait for Sam Bennett and bring him back. Like he'd have a chance if it ends in a sprint.
Wild to think Pedersen thought about not even racing today. I knew someone from a team like Trek without a top favorite could win with a late attack after the Poggio when everyone else is looking at each other.
It must be because you decided to watch the race, that we got all those attacks before Poggio. In the end Pedersen was just too strong.
