So today's the queen stage, and they're doing, in the early stages, Peyragudes. But instead of the "up Peyresourde, down a bit then up a bit" finish from the 2012 Tour and 2013 Vuelta, they're just riding the link road from the Col de Peyresourde to the Peyragudes station (Balestas, not Les Agudes, which would be a dead end and only accessible from Luchon).
Strong break today too - Christophe Kern (Europcar), Emanuele Sella (Androni Giocattoli), Omar Fraile (Caja Rural), Blel Kadri (Ag2r), Guillaume Levarlet (Cofidis), David LeLay (Sojasun), Julien Antomarchi (La Pomme Marseille), Nicolas Vogondy (Accent Jobs) and Yohan le Bon (FDJ) all trying to keep control of the awesomeness that is Ángel Madrazo (Movistar). They have 1'35 at the summit of Peyragudes-Balestas. No team has the advantage of numbers, but very few teams not represented. Seems like it's a day for the stronger teams, as apart from Sky the only teams not represented are the smaller ones in the race - Brétagne-Séché are ProConti, but not built for this kind of parcours, while Big Mat, NSP and Atlas Personal are the smallest teams in the race.
