Thank you, yes of course we are all delighted : huge stars on the road and outside, great media coverage, a lot of crowd and last but not least, the sun :)

it's hilarious that people judge this at all. quintana just returned since a few days from colombia, with 0 racing days in his legs since april and contador with supercompensation out of the giro can't drop quintana on a climb and yet somehow to contador fans this is good

Froome was also with 0 racing days in Dauphine, you saw what he did there?!
yeah he sucked and could barely drop van garderen wel until he was 7 stages into the race? quintana has done what?2-3 stages... against contador?

Well, Froome did 6.2-6.4 W/kg for 20 mins (depending on source) after four cat one climbs in the queen stage of Dauphine, and when he really put the hammer down TJ dropped ~20 secs in a couple of kilometers in that stage.

Contador and Quintana did 5.6 W/kg for 35 mins in an easy stage in an easy stage race, and they even couldn't drop Pierre Latour. Contador seems to be on the same level as in Giro and Quintana on the same level as in April. TJ would have dropped them both like a stone.
6.2 watt for 20 minutes is nothing to write home about for froome's proportions and again can you even read? that's the final days of dauphinee. dauphinee is 8 stages, route dus sud was just the third stage

and pls show me evidence of van garderen dropping them like a stone yesterday

So Froome riding in Romandie was just a figment of my imagination then

Yep, after seven days of hard racing and after four fast cat one climbs in the stage seven Froome was able to put 6.2-6.4 W/kg with >6.5 W/kg for the last kilometers. And TJ was very fast as well. Contador and Quintana were slow even though it was third day in an easy stage race meaning they should have been fresh. Sure they could have ridden faster, maybe 5.8 W/kg.

Ryo storming in for his greatest love Quintana.

I can't really recall the contador fanboy/girl army being all happy about the climbing performance. I do recall people liking the fact that Contador dropped Quintana during the descent. What was not to like?

Romandie started in April and ended in May. Froome was definitely racing although clearly not in top form. I remember now :) Quintana seemed to be training (but who knows), so you could argue that he has had 0 racing days since April.

Nice to Ivan B. looking sharper

Naaah, he was useless yesterday. Did a pull for around 3-400 meter. The only reason he wasn't dropped before is the level om competetion here compared to the Giro. Still *** unfortunetely.

Wait until he sees what Cadel said about Quintana:

When riding in the peloton, he doesn’t exude a sense of security and safety on the bike. The first week will be his challenge.

Don't know, you've got to ask them. I know only that they both raced there!
