Quintana does look very easy, but if he really is so good why not try and drop Contador?
Bluffing. Long game. Keep cards hidden ahead of Le Tour.
Like how there was the suggestion that because of how dominantly Cav won the 2012 Tour Champs-Elysées sprint, other teams who were thinking about the sprint were not willing to assist Great Britain in pulling it back because they wanted shot of Cav first, whereas if he'd played his cards closer to his chest, other sprinters may still have thought they could win and had their teams work harder to help bring it together. If Quintana smashes Contador to all parts, he will find few allies in the Tour willing to work with him to rid the group of others, and in fact may find others work together against him because of the strength he showed here.
