That was like Degenkolb's victory in the Giro last year. Incredible. More like an attack than a sprint, and he made it look so easy.

Cap Blanc Nez tomorrow.

FDJ has by far the strongest team, but maybe something can happen

so 70km to go now,

Gap about 2-3 minutes I think.

Clément Koretzky (Bretagne-Séché), Brian Bulac (Giant-Shimano), Hugo Houle, Blel Kadri (AG2R-La Mondiale), Alexandre Pichot (Europcar), Julien Fouchard (Cofidis), Michael Morkov (Tinkoff-Saxo), Ralf Matzka (NetApp-Endura), Flavien Dassonville (Big Mat-Auber) et Julien El Fares (La Pomme-Marseille).

Serious winds out there.

Live in about 20 minutes on Eurosport, but here is a ticker while waiting:

Cap Blanc Nez = good entertainment

Unsure about Dumoulin, but maybe he used up most of his energy when he nearly made it across on the Cap Blanc Nez

I would actually say Michael Valgren, he surely have the talent for these kind of hills but I don´t know about what kind of shape he´s in atm.

Good call.

Excellent ride by him and Chava.

Demare digging deep to keep the jersey.

With Chavanel so close, there is room for a real battle on saturday : he needs to blow up Démare again in a similar way, because on sunday it will be a sprint for sure and Démare will again get bonifications. It will be hard to pull it off because the FDJ team is the strongest (and once more, imagine if the race was raced with teams of 6 instead of 8, god do I hat teams of 8). Chavanel needs Démare to be further than 10 seconds away tomorrow evening. SHould make for interesting racing tomorrow again.
