Well, since Dillier is on fewer teams it's better this way I guess, but anyway.

What a great ride by Dillier. Didn't really expect him to be that good in the mountains. Granted it was "only" one day, but still. Carapaz looks great too. Hope he can continue to develop nicely.

Diller had 12' at the start of the stage, then 2 sets of 3': advantage over Carapaz at the time Carapaz caught him was 18'.

Carapaz then pulled out 11' on the road, plus 4' for 3rd: he retrieved 15'.

Anyone able to explain why the gap is given as 1' rather than 3?

Because 55 - 42 isn't 11.

Nibali already said that he was a strong rider at the start of the 2016 season, apparently he impressed him durning a training camp.
