Valverde not looking good, but mostly disappointed by Enric. Lets see at Lagunas, Mas should definitely be better than this 1 month before the Tour, but he is a diesel so for sure he will be better.

All the Spaniards seem to have a bad day. Even Landa wasn’t able to hang on to Remco and had to struggle to regroup with Chavez and Bennett.

Excellent stage.
Remco definitely in the best shape at the moment.
A really good ride from the breakaway.
The efforts in the echelons surely have affected some.
Bennett looks good. Chaves motivated, Landa well prepared, Aru on the way back to the best of his abilities...

More than a satisfactory reboot of the season.

And looking at the pics with his malliot open he isn't even in shape yet

Jumbo-Visma with 4 leaders now at the Tour? G. Bennett really impressive today.
I think Bennett has been great for a while. He’s a great leader at races like these. He can definitely put in really solid efforts. Rightfully so though, there are three riders in his team who are stronger and the team leaders for the Tour. If he had been saved for the Vuelta.....
