Good thing I got the Danish Eurosport guys, they may not be the best, but they usually dont talk much rubbish, and they are not afraid to admit if thye made a mistake recognising someone, and then correct themselves.

edit: LOL @ SIDI, strangest commercials ever.

But let's be honest and admit that most in here would need a facepalm picture if they had to listen to Leif Mortensen. Might not be Harmon stupid, but he has a funny way of pronouncing rider names (and actually also normal Danish words - i.e. "landevejsløw").

Thomas Bay is above average though.

When it comes to mutilating rider names, Paulo Martins is in a class of his own. Ahead of Phil Liggett even.

Harmon seems to me to be getting worse in his commentary...

I thought the same. It is almost if he just shows up these days and wings it. He frequently shows very little awareness of cycling stories that are running in the background, and even miss simple things that are related to the race he is commentating on. A couple of years back he was (or seemed) better prepared.

He has always been the presenter, with an expert sidekick (Kelly), pretty much the standard British Eurosport set-up. Maybe he now feels (mistakenly) that what he has seen and picked up over the last years has been enough to roll with it.

btw do I have time to clean the bathroom before the race gets really interesting? or is it about to start seriously now?

I'm going to have a shower and breakfast. Seems quite a bore at the moment.

They're about as bad at pronouncing Germanic names as British commentators are at pronouncing Romance names.
