Ineos has to be the most tactically incompetent team in cycling. What are they doing ? Maybe there are behind the scene financial fair play rules that meant they had to do every other teams work for a stage? Because they pull for no reason at all, just to rider for a sprint with their slow riders.

Honestly van Wilder moment wasn't the most embarrassing thing in that stage, it was ineos.

I mean what is a threat? He has no chance at winning this.

He's doing great tho and the TT is going to be the most important stage so a good GC is possible yes.
Considering how Intermarché have started the season, I would not be surprised at all if he does easily the best TT of his career in Sunday. Wouldn't say he has zero chance.

Pidcock and Martinez both have good sprints normally.

Ganna only lost 7 seconds because nobody attacked. Even though Pidcock had no kick today, not a bad day for them.

He will lose some time on Malhao and there are also better TTers. He is in form and I wouldn't be surprised if he does his all time best, but winning is something else.

On the subject of horrendous tactics: Onley launching at 500 metres to go and proceeding to lose contact with the main group in the sprint maybe also wasn't the greatest move.

At least Nick Schultz didn't celebrate at the line.

I thought Madouas would have been able to get past Van Wilder, but the Belgian did a pretty good job. He might win the race now, but Ganna is a danger man.
Higuita looked finished at one point, but he managed to hold on.
