And now Lemmen will win . But it still doesn't make sense for them to pull like teams with eight riders.

There is no difference. Both teams has limited chances at best to win the stage, so they need to ride in the peleton and let the race unfold.

you cant fault the riders, there was no way to know that only one side of the roundabout was safe
