That little Colombian from yesterday as expected can't tt, worked solely on his climbing, good stuff, a future favourite perhaps.

Would just be dumb to even focus on it honestly, talented guy, but I don't think he'll even really be a GC rider. Which isn't a problem at all, pure climbers need to be back

Why Lotto ride Algarve, when De Lie and Widar are nowhere close to top results, when they could've battle for the win at Andalucia?

Portugal is very important for Intermarché.

Widar shouldve just been in Oman instead tho. Even if he did a good performance yesterday, he always had no chance doing good in GC with that TT.

De Lie is difference, he's here to get better, completely fine if he doesn't win and just doesn't crash.

Do people really think Widar went all out? He would be the worst time trialist of all time if that was the case.

You just have to look at his face when he crosses the finish line, he was just chilling lmao.

Maybe he got a flat early, or he just didn't care cause well his biggest weakness is his mental after a somewhat "disappointing" performance.

Very strong performance again from Ineos. Dan Bigham leaving doesn't seem to have affected them as much as was anticipated.

1. He didn't try
2. His TT is bad yes
3. When has he even said he expects that? He literally said at the beginning of the season he doesn't agree with everyone saying he's a GC rider
So he thinks that he can be a classics rider with his current level of positioning?

His talent is obvious, but his weaknesses need a lot of work if he's going to be more than, say, a Warren Barguil.

Current level is completely irrelevant. Also surprisingly his positioning yesterday was really good, it's apparenlty (according to Visbeek) the main reason why they wanted him to do this race, not to get a result but to try to work at positioning in a high level field.

There's just absolutely no reason to conclude anything after today when he obviously did not try at all. Did you see him coming over the finish? This kid is 20y old, just turned prof, wth are people expecting man. Peoples expectations about young riders has gone to absolute *** due to a few guys immediately performing at a very high level.
