Or you can go from winning in San Sebastián to getting dropped hard in LBL. Time will tell.

Ayuso I was expecting him to beat Ganna here or atleast close like this, no idea why others werent. He beat Ganna in 24 in a quite similar TT and has been doing altitude prep just for this.

Almeida big distinction no altitude. His TT is in line with his Algarve TT last year, usually dont gain traction until after April. As expected and exactly in line with last year so far.

Seixas - even if hes been at altitude, he hasnt shown this kind of TT before ever, so very impressive.

Sad for Nuggets woulda been cool to see what he could do. Also sexy ride by Søderqvist love to see that

Shoutout to Ganna for taking the stage, his teammates Arensman and Vauquelin with very solid performances too.

Great day for Lidl-Trek with Söderqvist producing likely the best TT of his career so far and Ayuso managed to put himself in a great position to win the overall. Young Alvarez doing very well too.

Massive performance from Seixas again, he was just narrowly beaten by riders that are at least a couple of years older than him and thus he is still in the fight for the overall.

Expected a bit more from Almeida, he is usually better than this in flat TTs.

Looking at the TT results further down, it's more that Almeida stands out as bad.
Yeah, it was definitely a terrible performance by him. Weird how he could stand there and say how it was a nice TT and that the others were just faster. But I guess that's just what he always says.

Only thing that makes sense is that his TTs are usually just not great in February

Like Netserk used to say, Cancellara is very good but way overrated. Ayuso is current Cancellara. He went to altitude and he is flying right now. By the end of July, he is finishing outside of the top5 in the TdF.

Current level is completely irrelevant. Also surprisingly his positioning yesterday was really good, it's apparenlty (according to Visbeek) the main reason why they wanted him to do this race, not to get a result but to try to work at positioning in a high level field.

There's just absolutely no reason to conclude anything after today when he obviously did not try at all. Did you see him coming over the finish? This kid is 20y old, just turned prof, wth are people expecting man. Peoples expectations about young riders has gone to absolute *** due to a few guys immediately performing at a very high level.
so you're saying he has a chance?
