The climbs are crazy steep in places but not long so it'll take some teamwork and attacking from far out to claw back minutes on GC.
It depends on how they race on these climbs. You can lose more time on a steep 5k climb than on a 7% 15k climb. If you park your bike on a 19% section, even if it's only 300 meters, those 300 meters can take minutes.
300m at 19% should take minutes even if you're flying

Yes, it was in reference to one rider parking his bike, and another rider not, and what gap that might cause in GC.

I think Landa can do it within today and tomorrow. He is not at his best level, bur he is motivated, not bad and with not big pressure.Today is not the typical stage od Arrate with San MIguel.. there is not flat just before the last climb, you can plain and attack from long.
The situation is good to a great race. Strong people as Landa, Yates or Pogacar have to recover big time. as well as other strog riders has to attack to the leader. The leader is in great shape but he hasnt a superteam and he is not the best climber.

So, he has quite well the overall, but he will face long attacks from lot of riders and he will give a great level to keep the leader.

Landa will have Verona as a great help.

The race is already on with 3 hard climbs still remaining. Schachmann AND Konrad in trouble.

Their best climber, Buchmann, looks fine.

Good to see there's enthusiasm far away from the finish line, but Mas is doing a favour to someone else with this attack.
