I think Koch would have to drop them on C. d'Arbre, otherwise the Visma's will alternate attacks on the run in to Roubaix

Koch looks the strongest in the race, drilling the cobbled sections then on the defence when she comes off
Koch is the strongest, but she's giving up about 20 years of experience in road racing alone to these two, let alone the other formats. Marianne attacked but as soon as Franzi met her she stopped and let Pauline back, Franzi's had Pauline on the ropes a number of times but she keeps coming back. They're likely going to do the 1-2 punch on the run-in.

There are a lot of tactics in women's cycling that leave the audience scratching its head, but Marianne Vos is usually responsible for none of it.

that looked like Armstrong getting taken down by the plastic bag. Hard to stay upright when a hood gets hooked like that.

I dont really understand the comm duo obsessing about Brands bike handling skills there, you just aint staying upright with that kind of contact

At least there is some semblance of a chase from Kopecky and an unfamiliar American, but not enough to come close to the leaders

Yeah, it's just physics . . . it doesn't take much pressure on one end of a lever (the bars) to turn the wheel.

I don't know about Koch's sprint chances, but if nothing else she has a great name if you're a female German sprinter!
