you clearly dont know Valv  the more Alien the better
He complains to the mods when others call Valverde a freak but calling Richie an alien is fine, apparently.

Indeed. Watching good performances is always great (at least when it doesn't completely kills the race).

Roglic is the best investment TLJ have ever made. His climbing is a little disappointing, but his TT'ing is incredible.

Roglic did this in the Basque country as well, more or less completely the same. Down a decent amount, then descended very well (I assume) and turned the turbo on down on the flat section.

Best time trialist on a decently hilly course in the world?

What a ride by Porte... but Felline, is there anything he can't do?
Win big races?
It will come. It will come.

Mind you this shouldn't have been a surprise. Felline is very good in time trials.
He probably wont win many races this year, but this will make him better, riding all these races on that level. Every year he will turn up a bit better. Amazing versatility!

Wonder how Valverde would have done on a time trial like that if he could carry on his shape in Liege. He has done two similar time trials (+ a TTT) with a great result.

On a hilly course it's usually Dumoulins specialty. Look at the big difference in the TDF last year.
Would be interesting to see them go toe to toe.

Roglic better on the flat/downhill parts, Dumoulin on the hills itself and corners.
