Froome, Porte and Yates are going to attack at the very bottom at the last climb. About 3k out when the gradients are the hardest.

The less explosive climbers (Roglic, Ion, Jungles) can lose 30-40 seconds + bonus seconds on a stage like that.

They can't just wait for the last climb.

SKY wont drop Ion or Roglic on this climb imo ....there needs to be an attack on the 2nd last climb which is much harder

Shame Edmondson went too early - explosive!

Hope Pantano can follow Sky up and down stage 4.

He probably did go too early but he was a long long way back and probably thought he couldn't leave it any longer. The overhead shot was unreal. What an exciting prospect he is.

BMC SKY Coup is possible today. Make it as hard as possible. Really soften the all rounders up!
I don't even think they have to. Actually, the fresher they are, the better. One acceleration on the final climb from Froome/Porte should be enough. You can gain 20-30 secs (+bonus seconds) on 2k of 8.5%. Roglic can't stay in their wheels. Neither can Jungles or even Ion Izagirre. Simon Yates is the only rider racing who can do it.

But BMC should try to send Tejay out.

58 in one minute... someone should try to go in the break, no team is superstrong to control everything.
This is true. Some riders who are under 1 minute down in the GC should try it. Their only chance of winning the overall.

Sky doesn't have a super team and BMC have two captains. The rest of the teams are not going to chase. Not even Trek.

Sky have confirmed that Moscon used racially abusive language to Reza and have stated that he will be disciplined internally.

Very disappointing.

Really don't understand racism.
Speaks more about the offender than offended. If Moscon could spin it on sarcastic side that could be a good start, but for racist satire good friendship is needed, otherwise it's classlessness.

Disappointing break with no riders in top 50 in the GC. Clarke, Kochetkov, Van der Sande, Armee, De Gendt, Cherel, Reguigui and Pasqualon

Hope to see some attacks on the Jaunpass or the cat 2. climb. On Pillon, it's too late. The pace will be too high and kill most attacks.

Disapointing indeed. Coming from a hot prospect like Moscon.
