Trek's riders look like they'd all be wearing young rider classification jerseys

Wth was Remco doing there? If Wanty didn't have a sprinter that basically sprints backwards they wouldve gotten a free win here.

That was a really bad leadout from Quickstep.

I dont know why Remco pulled like that with no one from his team on the wheel.

He maybe also should have stayed with the team when Intermarché over-powered them. There would have been time to regroup and get back on the front with the lead-out intact. Especially as he was super-strong.

trying to be selfless and help his team. But of course we dare not say that. Just like there were no headlines how he repeatedly congratulated Vlasov for being the strongest yesterday.

was he at fault today or his team who couldn’t follow his wheel and was also overwhelmed by other teams…? I don’t know. But give the kid SOME credit for working very hard for a team mate. It was an incredible pull…

Their timing was off today but there's obviously a lot of power there and they were really strong two days ago. If they take Ghirmay as lead sprinter going forward the wins will come, Kristoff looks finished.

There's only one other sprinttrain here tho.
And yes Kristoff is completely finished, atleast as a sprinter.

It's definitely too early to be aiming for wins in the biggest sprints for both their train and their sprinters but there's something to work with. Give Ghirmay and maybe also Thijssen a shot this year and they might be going places. If they're stupid enough to keep backing Kristoff, they might not make the WT for next year, such a sprint project would die if that's the case and they will have deserved it.

The most underrated aspect of this race. Giro and LBL in the bag.
He's improving also his stealth techniques, even if still not impressive like last year Tirreno when he showed flashes of peak Zubeldia to end up in the top 10, maybe he'll reserve that for Andalusia and then already bag time for Omloop and Sanremo.

Apparently the extra motivation of having a stage finish in his birth place was enough for a random BurgosBH dude to outsprint Kristoff, Viviani and Jakobsen.

Well, Remco tried an attack with Mohoric in the early kms of today's stage :p

Voodoobali up front now with Boaro, Lastra and Gotzon. That last one is riding a quite decent race, after crashing hard (he's the Euskaltel rider who slipped just in front of David Dekker). Without that accident he would've got a top 20 in the GC for sure.
