not sure I'm buying the anton factor here. Hasn't seemed good, last year he had showed more at this point

Last year by this time He had dropped Contador in El Morredero and lot of ppl were like
His form is improving as We saw in CyL but I still think that He can make top 10 with that form... I'd dare to say that He will finish over Andrew... ;)

Ima give into my fanboyism for a moment... Go Gesink !! :p

I'm doing the same but I'm going to say GO MOLLEMA.

Gilbert will not wait the Huy... He will try a solo... and he has a good chance to succeed

Yes, it's certainly isn't always an uphill sprint only. When Aerts and Verbrugghe won, they also anticipated.

I have my doubts about Cunego, because he had trouble following uphill in the Amstel.

And they're off! The first break got away, Maciej Paterski (LIQ), Maxime Vantomme (KAT), Matti Helminem (LAN) and Preben Van Hecke (TSV) have seven minutes after a little under 20km.

As for the dutch interviews:
Gilbert: focus lies more on next sunday, contador & schleck biggest favorites
VDB: can ride his own race, won't work for Gilbert. Had good legs in AGR, might be able to do something if he finds the same legs today
Hermans: stronger than 2 years ago (14th that year), was surprised to to so good in AGR. Has peaked to this race. Mur De Huy is a very hard climb
Gesink: Feels better & wiser than when he was 4th. This is a race where the strongest almost always wins.

Maxim Vantomme has had some consistent results in semi classics/Belgian 1 day races this year, and one to look out for in the future I reckon.

A bit surprised by the gap already building up.

There's at least one frame to go, at most 2 if the losing guy wins the next one. They're staying 'til the end of the match. FFS.

I'm afraid Turkey will suffer the same fate next week.
