Riding error is a bit harsh when it's rainy and that cold, his fingers slipped/he lost his grip.
Gloves that fully cover your fingers could have prevented this one.
No, his handlebar slipped from his right hand when putting power on the pedals out of the saddle, when your bike starts moving side to side.I think it was because he tried to change gear. I suppose UCI will have to ban different gears on bikes from now on.
I know Ineos aren't popular, but laughing at crashes is never cool.Haha, what the hell? Vintage Thomas.
@King Boonen approves thisI think it was because he tried to change gear. I suppose UCI will have to ban different gears on bikes from now on.

Four +30 riders in the group. Proving that being over 30 doesn't mean you're old.
His ha d slipped when he went to stand up and sprint. He was looking to make a big effort to beat the very fast Woods and he put more force on the bars than his wet grip would allow.Yes, but after he had changed gears, so he hadn't quite regained the right grip. I think.

Isnt 27-32 somewhat of the ideal age for a cyclist? I could be wrong but thats what I have heard.

That's at least what the competition of these youngsters hopeIt probably is... but these days it seems to be more like 21-23...
The two German ESP commentators watched three (!) slow-mos and couldn't figure out what happened. "Uh, why is he taking his hand off the handlebar there?" "Hm maybe let's wait for the interview..."He lost grip of the handlebar with the right hand.
