uci needs to ban holding the bars like that, clearly its very dangerous

I've been saying for months they should just ban crashes.

Riding error is a bit harsh when it's rainy and that cold, his fingers slipped/he lost his grip.
Gloves that fully cover your fingers could have prevented this one.

Weather AND the force you pull with when sprinting........ which is why you sprint holding the bottom of the handlebar = riding error

I think it was because he tried to change gear. I suppose UCI will have to ban different gears on bikes from now on.

No, his handlebar slipped from his right hand when putting power on the pedals out of the saddle, when your bike starts moving side to side.

His ha d slipped when he went to stand up and sprint. He was looking to make a big effort to beat the very fast Woods and he put more force on the bars than his wet grip would allow.

Isnt 27-32 somewhat of the ideal age for a cyclist? I could be wrong but thats what I have heard.

It probably is... but these days it seems to be more like 21-23...
