I have absolutely nothing against Ineos - quite the contrary - but the crash itself and the fact that it was Thomas was too amusing. No reason to be so uptight about it, it's just a crash.
I think part of the strangeness of it was that the crash came in a place where, of all places on the course, you wouldn't expect a crash to occur. And then, like, 20 meters from the finish. It just seemed spontaneous.

Does Woods have his own thread?

After seeing him today, I actually think he has a shot at the Vuelta podium. Only the last time trial will be his Achilles' heel.

He's not at all consistent.

He's one of those riders who is up there fighting for WT wins one day, then nowhere a few weeks/months later. This is clearly "his moment" though after his great showing at Liège. I still expect Thomas to win the overall GC tomorrow, "if" he's okay.

In other news Jumbo had a bad day, i.e. Kruijswijk showing again Primoz is the only leader for JV in the Tour in July whilst Kuss never seems to seize his opportunities to lead in races where Roglic isn't there.

Yes, Jumbo not looking too enthusiastic this week. It may be a little early in the year for Kuss to be in top form, but then, as has been mentioned, he seems to reach top form only in those races where he's supporting Primoz.
