Let me put it this way, there is a reason why Pogacar chickened out of the Dauphiné.

I'm kidding, but yes. He's a GC guy, very comparable to Evenepoel, but not as dominant. Same size, same age, same strengths. Tempoclimber, very good ITT. Just a bit behind in development. They actually have a similar position on the bike and style.

PS: if you're asking if he's a future GT winner, i would say i wouldn't rule it out. If guys like Vlasov, Carthy, Sivakov are "potential GT winners" then he could be too.
