It's always like that. Waiting till the team with the most guys or the best sprinter is done, then when it's too late they'll start helping. Anyways I don't think it would've mattered. Strongest guys are gone.

it made no sense at all, so I don't really think it was about the result. They probably just wanted to try some things and go deep before the big races.

If I got that right, the big peloton isn't too far behind G3, by the way.

He seems to have more to give and he is probably gonna come close, but not make it quite there and then the legs will go.
