Why do Brits think a Dutch accent involves the sh-sound? Dutch doesn't have that, at least not very often.

Well... surely you should understand where it comes from, right? Dutch speakers may think they don't use that sound, but plenty of Dutch actually do. A simple word like "zeven" a lot of Dutch pronounce like "sheuwfeh". To people in Flanders, it sounds like Dutch are putting sh-sounds everywhere, lol.
