I hope the introduction of gravel roads would make the race harder & get much more Km in years to come - honestly 4k ain't nothing unless there where placed within 10K to the finish..... Lefevere is an idiot!!!

Looks like the weather will be good, which is a little disappointing - the 2015 edition was one of the best races I've ever seen.

This is the sort of race for Matteo Trentin (50/1) a tough second tier rider who has an excellent sprint from a reduced group. I hope Quickstep will him a chance to race for himself before falling back into domestique duties over the next few weeks.

Bit of a random question:

Basically every age/gender category is having a race today? Saw a list a while back, if I recall correctly it was the following categories:

U17 men
U17 women
U19 men
U19 women
U23 men
Elite men
Elite women

50km/h at the beginning and the by now almost traditional echelons in the Moeren. Ain't going to be a bunch sprint again.

Man, I'm starting to love this race more and more the past couple of years.

Yes, but the U17 and U19 aren't finishing in Wevelgem.
U17 woman in Boezinge and U19 and U23 in Ypres.
