I wonder what teams have people that want to chase now. Di Luca, Basso and Mechov must certainly want to chase. Clumbia and Astana can take it safe with Leipheimer and Rogers up there.

If they get caught it will have been an incredible waste of energy though.

I think they can! Rogers, Horner, Lepheimer... if they work together, that's a TTT.

I doubt Levi will do a lot of the pulling. But I think you're right, they might make it.
Now Mick has Boasson Hagen there to help share the load.

I think Basso doesn't mind too much, he's got pellizotti up there. If he gains a minute, wouldn't hurt him too much, and I think he is going to take the stage. Menchov only has Ten Dam. LPR... I dunno, they want to limit the losses, but if rogers gets pink, that's not too bad, so they can rest a couple of days.

Only Leipy is in a really good position, if he can steal 50s!

Only Bosisio at the moment for Di Luca.

Rabobank and especially Liquigas (Pellizzotti ahead) are bluffing, but they'll start to work soon, I think. Menchov already put one to pull earlier (Ten Dam?).

Whose team is Pelizzoti on? I know his jersey is green, but he's riding his *** off for that diminutive guy in blue...

But their captain is Basso, and Leipheimer is his n.1 contender.

Oh the breakaway is doomed: there is my idol, Rubens Bertogliati, pulling for Diquigiovanni.

32" now.

If I was Liquigas' DS, Pellizotti would just be sitting on the back (which he is now, but he was pulling on the climb).

I know, but the giro is still long. I think he'll be able to drop Leipy somewhere in the mountains...

On top of that if pelli can get back into the top 10... It could be a good thing for LIQ

He was before Levi joined.

Now there are four teams pulling in the "peloton".

Was some nice TV racing but I'm not sure it was that good from a tactical standpoint. It was good by a few teams but Levi going was a bad move imo.
