Seemed like a really dumb move for Boonen to go on the heels of a Hushovd effort instead of one by Canc. Well...he succeeded in getting rid of Hushovd.

Boonen is trying to rally the troops but they don't look too strong.

EBH is sucking wheel, I'm not entirely sure why. Either he has decided to save himself for the sprint for 2nd or he has run out of fish paste and is exhausted.

Wow, wouldn't want to be Chava right now. Can you imagine what's going through his mind at the moment?? "What the hell am I going to do with this guy??"

Who was going to throw a beer on Fabian at the Muur again?

El Pistolero - your chance to become immortal ala whoever it was that punched Eddy Merckx on the Puy de Dome. ;)

He got 20 seconds pretty quickly but it hasn't been going out further.

Actually, it is. And it is only going to go out further.

Garmin to win the most over-rated award? On paper they are strong, but when the going gets tough at the big stages, their absence is surprisingly odd.

Cue them to win Roubaix next week.

Gilbert joins up with Boonen & co., brings a lot of hangers on.

Chances of potentially catching The Canc just went from 0% to 0.1%. :p
