For some reason I thought Peterpaul rode for Radioshack. I checked up to see how old he was and found him in a Rabobank kit. Which unfortunately, not only destroys my chances of saying he rides for an American team, but also his chances in the race.

You're right though. Paul Martens is Germany's current best Ardennes rider, and certainly much more suited to this kind of race than ultra-diesel Tony Martin. I find it odd that Bavarianrider doesn't rate him.

can we give martin the "most hyped rider of the year" award? or is still too soon?

cus he went from being a good itt rider back in jan to being without a shadow of a doubt a future GT contender in march and on to become a major hilly monument treat by april.

Those were the Flemmish Ardennes, could be (although it's not) an indication for his chances in de Ronde van Vlaanderen, but it has nothing to do with LBL.

No. This was just my only chance to get someone to actually take the Polish flag on as their avatar.

Its not like Im going to get there by betting people on Polish winners, unless the Giro introduces a best domestique award.

Lol, I thought Paul Martens was Dutch anyway :p He does speak Dutch pretty fluently.

Yeah, intelligent bloke. After two years at Skil he was already at this level of Dutch fluency.
