It's a matter of how you read it, I guess. He picks out Kittel ánd Degenkolb out of the current crop of young talent, and for what team do they both ride? He seems just as interested in Champion System as in Coldeportes, naming them both as "new opportunities", i.e. possibly interesting exotic entries.

for that you must understand how it works in italy. it's an italian race with much pressure behind it. they would go mad over a sucky chinese team invited but colombians have great reputation in traditional cycling countrys like italy and spain.

Indeed. He only referred to Champion System and 1T4I in the previous article, in fact. Not Coldeportes. I don't believe they were random picks.

you have a very good point. I think so too. I think changes now will only be better for future, also in terms of ethics. a friend of mine thinks acqua won't be invited because of di luca. we will see

after reading blog of acquarone I'm very positive now. I think the picks will be:

androni
farnese
coldeportes
acqua en sapone

Using that same logic, Androni won't be invited, either. Savio still faces a longgggggg doping ban despite his acquittal in the De Angeli case.

Yea, I think they should perhaps do Beijing (I thought they might get TDU as well) and then concentrate on getting to a few European .HC and .1 races as well as making a big impression on the Asian calendar with races like Langkawi.

Races I'd be looking to target for them would include the Tour of Turkey, Tour of Austria (they potentially have some Austrians on the roster), Jayco Herald Sun Tour, Bayern, maybe some of the US-based races (Utah perhaps most likely, but no harm in trying to go to California or Colorado) with the Americans on the roster, Luxembourg and a few Low Countries one-day races.

they stand no chance in asian races either as there will be iranian teams that kick their asses

if acqaurone invites champion system or it41 instead of acqua e sapone or androni(he also doesn't like savio it seems) it will be a chaos,i think tifosi won't like it either.both androni and acqua e sapone should be untouchable.also i think coldeportes is in because of corti

using the same logic you can't invite any team out there, then you really have to invite champion system lol

also savio is the supreme fox, connections everywhere, especially in the italian justice system.he will never be banned, never.also de angeli's case is ridiculous, piece of cake for savio
the italian fans already pressure rcs and acquarone to not make any mistakes

For context, here is, according to CQ's transfer overview, Champion System's definite 2012 roster:

Will Clarke (Australia, 26) ex Leopard & Ag2r
Matthias Friedemann (Germany, 27)
Gorik Gardeyn (Belgium, 31) ex Lotto, Unibet & Vacansoleil
Kun Jiang (China, 22)
Pengda Jiao (China, 25)
Aaron Kemps (Australia, 28) ex Liberty Seguros & Astana
Jaan Kirsipuu (Estonia, 42) ex everybody under the sun
Craig Lewis (USA, 26) ex HTC & Slipstream
Biao Liu (China, 23)
Anuar Manan (Malaysia, 25)
Mart Ojavee (Estonia, 30)
Muhamad Othman (Malaysia, 20)
Steven Wong (Hong Kong, 23)
Kin San Wu (Hong Kong, 26) - ex Lampre stagiare from years back
Gang Xu (China, 27) - ex Lampre stagiare from years back

Good. I wish nothing more than for Androni, A&S and Coldeportes ALL to be invited.
