across-USA tour:interesting blog and pictures

A friend of mine and his wife are currently doing a ride across the USA, and there is a (almost) daily blog entry with photos.

I think it gives a really good view of their experience - good & bad.

Yes, I know that for some of you they are old enough to be your grandparents - but they are out there on their bikes!

They look to be maybe my older brother's peer group. Good on them! Mentally, they are in the hardest part now - the plains. God, I hate riding, day after day, in conditions like that - wind, flat, nothing but monotony.

I did have to read through all their posts. Good on them - it will be something to remember!
