The first two weeks with the exception of the TT were almost tailormade for Purito. The third week suits Contador MUCH better. Domination in the third week :D

4 stages to come that would favor Contador - big mountains. One that favors Rodriquez - short sharp finish. Rodriguez will have to stay with Contador for the next 3 days, and limit his losses next week. As much as I would like to see him do it, I don't think it will happen. Froome has looked tired so far, but maybe he will still come back. The next 3 days will tell us.

I hope that whoever wins it is either at least 51s(?) ahead of Valverde or is Valverde. Will be nicer if there can be no coulda/woulda/shoulda about what will have been a well-won victory.

55s;)...It wont be a factor cos Alberto is gonna fly away:p:D

If things go according to shape and Contador gets his legs back to what they used to be as tomorrow -- looking very likely; thus far he's been on a GT/training ride -- it is a foregone conclusion he'll be in Red to stay by Monday at the latest. The only question left is "how much will he win by?" About two minutes is my guess. And only because Purito's been in the form of his life. Doubt anyone else has as much as a chance...

I think that Rodriguez will win, yes Contador will step it up but Im not convinced he will reach a 2011 Giro level and i honestly think JRod is riding in the form of his life, he doesnt have to do anything on the climb he can simply hold albertos wheel and win bonus second pritty easily, Contadors accelerations dont hurt Rodriguez like they hurt everyone else, he has plenty of kick anyway.

Im always pessimistic about Contador and I would love him to win but the reality is he is just back from suspension and in decent form he should have killed the tt and should have held on for the win in Andorra, I dont think he is ready

I think we got an answer to this question. Joaquim has answer to everything.... and then he outsprints his rivals and collects that win and time bonus.

Hm, difficult to say. Since today I don't think time works on Contador. All the more so Joaquim seemed to be ready to make a move from about 1.5-2k to go, but didn't take a risk, but he's beginning to believe in himself more and more. I rate their chances equally so far. But for Alberto it's getting dangerous because Purito is very likely to steal bonus seconds tomorrow as well.

lol wtf.

Purito already dropped 2 times on Contador on the longer climbs. The little climbs are over, Contador is getting better and better.

Purito never showed he could drop Contador a long climb, why now?

What's the difference? Now Contador will focus on Purito and destroy him.

Btw Contador only needs 1 superday. Only 1 day where he has Etna-form and it's enough. No way Purito will drop him on a long climb, it has never happened, he was never even close in dropping Contador in a long hard stage. Why now?

Keep on dreaming :D

Ha lol never seen such a stupid post how silly do you look now ha ha.

Contador still has 3 days and he dropped purito. But he still had his teammate and then froome was a perfect leadout for him.

But i didn't think purito was going to be that good. And everyone in this forum has been wrong but come to me next week after the bola del mondo.

We'll see how it is then :p

Don't forget Contador (or Majka) also has to drop Moreno. And that seems a tough nut.
