At what moment in the race was this? Because I felt Merlier was quite alone in the end
According to the article the tweet is from, it was around 7ish Ks from the finish.

I just did a quick RidewithGps profile of the finish. Looks easy indeedIf the entire profile (not the detailed one) is correct, it would be roughly 5km long and 182.5m elevation, for a 3.65% gradient.
EDIT: Well f* me, they appear to pass the finishline early in the stage, and according to the PCS profile, the climb is 4.2km long and 3.2%.
Thanks, makes sense that he was a bit alone in the end, since Van Lerberghe is his last guy here.According to the article the tweet is from, it was around 7ish Ks from the finish.
Unai Zubeldia on the attack again.
At which point would it be appropriate to make a "Unai is not a new Zubeldia" thread?
it's not. This is a different finishIf this is the same finish as last year then it will be a reduced sprint.
When he gets a proper result. Marcus Sander didn't get a thread just because he won the sprint jersey in last year's race.
YetMarcus' surname also isn't a concept.

Given his nationality I'd rather go for"Marcus Sander is not the next Zubeldia or Landa, but he's as strong as a Norwegian oil tanker".
What's next, it's no longer called Dogger Bank either? It's Ørsted now (well, since 2017).
From above he looks like a child in size between all those other riders.Very smart move from Lecerf to ride on dirt instead.
